Donausäge Rumplmayr - Brand extension and communication

Our task:

Our task is to sharpen the brand architecture for the company Donausäge Rumplmayr, concerning the umbrella brand “RURU” and its brand extension into new market segments as well as the development of a packaging design solution for the pellet products and an efficient target group communication. In addition to sharpening the brand and updating the corporate image with a website and packaging designs, the aim is to position the company as an attractive employer.

Our solution

Donausäge Rumplmayr is a leading Upper Austrian company in the sawmill industry and, as a third-generation family business, produces high-quality sawn timber and pellet products for the regional, national and international markets. We developed the positioning in a brand workshop together with the company’s management.

We further developed the corporate brand and defined a brand ID “RURU”, which is a fixed component in the designation of the product brands. In this way, we transferred the existing image of the corporate brand to the products. With an informative, well-structured website that is aligned with the new CD guidelines, the entire product range is presented clearly and potential employees can make contact quickly and easily. Through the authentic social media presence, we create brand awareness and trust with the public. We present products, processes and insights as well as facts worth knowing, making the brand accessible to people.
